Do You Remember?

A pretty girl is sitting in front of her school, waiting for the bus to arrive. Her hair is not that long, she’s tall and her smile is very pretty. Suddenly, a group of girls came and screams because of a boy who’s attracting their attention. Jurina, the girl who’s sitting didn’t care more. But she always has that curious moment she stood up and saw a guy who’s surrounded by girls.

“Owh, it’s just him.” Then Jurina got back to her seat.

The bus finally came and she got in. At the same time the boy came in and sit next to the girl.

“Having fun with your fangirl?” asked Jurina.

“Why? Don’t tell me you’re jealous?” said the boy while patting her head.

“Ren! Why would I be jealous?” said Jurina while punching his arms. Jurina was a slight tomboy girl and Ren on the other side like that type of girl. They’ve been friends since kinder garden.

-flashback-

“Ouch! My feet hurts!” screamed Ren at the edge of the playground. He fell because of clumsiness.

“Daijobu desu ka?” asked a Jurina. Her appearance was different than other girls. She has lots of bandage on her hands. She’s the type who likes adventure. She took one bandage and put it on the boy. It was like love at first sight for the boy. Time went by and Ren turned out to be a stronger guy than Jurina is. They’re still friends until now and went to the same school.

-End flashback-

“Because… I’m more handsome and I’m now stronger than you?” he said. Jurina quickly try and hit his arms again but it got stopped by him. He was holding Jurina’s wrist really strong and he got closer to her face. He whispered something… “I told you I’m stronger now.” He said and made Jurina took her hand and hit Ren for several times.

They arrived home; their houses were next to each other. Jurina went to her room and looked out the window.

“Oi! Ren!” she screamed.

“Nani?” he asked at the other side of his house.

“Don’t forget we need to hand out our assignment tomorrow, you probably forgot.” Said Jurina than smiled. She knew that Ren is such a clumsy guy who forgot his homework often. And Jurina always back him up, but she got tired and now she tried to remind him, then to make herself do homework twice.

“WHY DID YOU REMIND ME JUST NOW?!?!” Ren got confused and quickly do his homework and made Jurina laugh really hard. The assignment was done the day after tomorrow, she was just playing with Ren.

“Clumsy boy~” she said in a small tone so he won’t hear.

The next day came and as usual she walked to the train station with the boy. Yes, she used train in the morning and bus in the afternoon.

“Did you finish your homework?” she asked.

“No, I haven’t. Why did you remind me yesterday?” he asked.

“Bwhahahaha! The assignment is due tomorrow, I did that so you wouldn’t get to tired to finish it today.” Said Jurina and she let out her tongue.

“You little…” and as Ren spoke, the train stopped.

“Oh boy! Love to talk to you, but look at the time!” she smiled and ran out of the train station. Ren was trying to reach her but he can’t

“Hey! Wait!” screamed Ren. He was also laughing and smiling. It was a while since they both talked and play with each other. He finally catch Jurina and hugged her from the back and spun her around.

“Put me down you baka!” screamed Jurina.

“Hmmm, why don’t you make me?” said Ren in a cheesy tone. At that moment Jurina punched his stomach and he’s now in pain.

“Sorry, was it to hard? You asked for it.” And when Jurina was in fear of any injured.

“I’m stronger than you remember?” screamed Ren and give Jurina a hug.

“Hey! Your fangirls are coming, before anything happened to me, you should let go.” Said Jurina, and this time, she's serious.

Because of what happened this morning, Jurina got glares from Ren’s fangirl. Her shoe locker is filled with hate notes.

“I guess it’s hard to have a friend like him.” Said Jurina. She took out the notes and put on her shoe to go back home.

“Jurina!” screamed Ren from the back.

“What do you want? Your fangirls just gave me some bad words.” She said.

“Let me see.” Said Ren and he saw everything, the bad words, and the hate words.

“I guess it’s hard for us to be friends.” Said Jurina.

“You’re right.” said Ren.

“What? I was just joking! You don’t want us to be friends anymore?” Jurina said in anger.

“Well, yeah, I wanted us to be…” befor Ren finished, Jurina cut him.

“If that’s what you want, than our friendship is over.” She said then left him.

“Jurina! Juu-chan! Matte!!” he screamed but it’s no use, Jurina already left him.

Back at the house, Ren keep knocking her window from his room. Jurina knows that he would never give up until he get a respon. It happens a lot.

-flashback-

“Juri!!! Oi!!” screamed Ren while knocking her window with a rock.

“Hey! My window will be broken!” screamed Jurina on the other side.

“Finally you came! Hey, I’m sorry, will you forgive me? I’ll return your ice cream tomorrow!” he said hoping Jurina will forgive.

“Hmmm, Okay! But the ice cream have to be bigger than the one you took!” said Jurina.

“Yes, I promise!” said Ren.

-End Flashback-

“What do you want?” asked Jurina.

“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean it about our friendship! I just…” he said.

“What do you mean then?” sked Jurina.

“Meet me tomorrow at Tokyo tower at 5pm, there’s something I need to tell you.” He said and quickly closed the window so Jurina wouldn’t say no.

“Oi! Ren! Oi!!” she screamed but it’s no use. She’ll just wait for him tomorrow.

5 pm, Tokyo Tower.

“Hey! I already bought tickets!” said Ren who came suddenly.

“Why are we here anyway? Only lovey dovey people come here.” Said Jurina.

“Just come, let’s go!” said Ren then pulled her hand to the elevator. They reached the top and Jurina skipped in happiness because the view is so nice.

“Uwaah! I can see the whole Tokyo here!” she said.

“You like it?” he asked.

“I love it! But, aren’t you afraid of heights?” asked Jurina.

“Hmm, you remember the first time we met?” asked Ren.

“You fell, than you got that trauma on height.” Said Jurina.

“Yeah, but because of you, right after I met you, the pretty yet tomboy girl who’s brave and strong, I feel like I want to be a better person.” He said then took her hand. “Matsui Jurina, I like you, since the first time we met. I want us to be more then friends that’s what I meant yesterday.” He said while holding her hand.

“I… don’t know what to say…” she looked down and Ren saw tears coming out of her eyes.

“H-hey! Why are you crying?” asked Ren.

“B-because, I-i like you too!” said Jurina than hugged him.

And in the end, the two actually like each other, and because of their memories in the past, it unites them in the future. They spent the rest of the day walking around Tokyo Tower, laughing and Jurina kept making fun of Ren because of his fear. But they turned out to be a really cute couple
